Matthew Singer was born to a large, but close, Oklahoma family. Though a native to mid-western America, he has always dreamt big city dreams. At the young age of 7 years-old, Matt was given his first instrument. Since that day, his musical horizon has been broadened. Though trumpet is his area of focus, he has spent time mastering the guitar, piano, bass, banjo, saxophone, percussion, harmonica, and various obscure instruments. When his Sophomore year came around, he was lucky enough to be given the prestigious position of Stand Drum Major. Since then, he has been promoted to Assistant Drum Major and now Head. He feels incredibly honored to hold such a strong position, and looks forward to leading this phenomenal ensemble.
